Your Irish farm experience sounded like...an experience. And don't even get me started on artichokes. We got those nearly every day! Ugh. Never again. But like you said, the whole thing taught us a lot about hard work and PATIENCE, and now we look back on it and laugh. Ups and downs are part of traveling, right? Glad you found our story! I loved reading this story (and seeing your gorgeous pictures - what camera do you use?) because I can totally relate. I've had some awful WWOOFing experiences (and a few good ones) which I talk about here: http://dirtyvagrant.com/what-i-wish-i-knew-before-i-wwoofed/ WWOOFing can definitely be a mixed bag, and I'm not sure if I would do it again, either. Plus, it's often not even legal on a tourist visa (oops!), still, it did bring me to some beautiful places and teach me a couple awesome skills. Hah!
